The Brand
Chelsea Martin is a brand that hopes to bring some happiness into your life, whether it is through artwork or clothing. Both have the opportunity to change your mood and convey what you are thinking, making them our favorite forms of expression.
The Art
The paintings featured in the Chelsea Martin Art store are done in a wide variety of styles, colors, and materials. We aim to create pieces that are fun, bold, and moving and generally find our inspiration from the world around us. Emotions also play a large role in the creation of the work, since we view painting as a valuable form of expression.
Behind the Brand
Chelsea Martin spent twelve years taking art lessons in a private studio during which she received many accolades for her work; such as having one of her paintings hung in the U.S. Capitol building for one year. Taking her love of fine art to the next level, she launched her eponymous online shop in 2020 with the goal of sharing her passion for creating with others in the hopes that it gives them the same happiness it gives her.
Always looking at the big picture, Chelsea worked towards a career in cybersecurity and has been enjoying it ever since. After careful reflecting she realized there could be more to life than a successful career, especially when that career is not conducive to self-expression. This realization is what prompted her to turn her hobby into a business.
Some of Chelsea’s most notable achievements include graduating from the Penn State Schreyer Honors College, her Master’s degree, and the fact that she drew ten minutes a day every day consecutively for 10 straight years.
While she isn’t planning on trading in her cyber skills just yet, she hopes to find more time to indulge in her creativity and design things the world will enjoy. Her next project is her eponymous clothing collection coming sometime this year.
